Family Business Act – Seminar
For the first time in Malta and on a pan European wide level Malta has introduced enabling legislation specifically to encourage the regulation of family businesses, their governance and the transfer of the family business from one generation to the next. The legislation by means of accompanying fiscal and governance incentives aims to encourage and assist family businesses to enhance their internal organisation and structure with the aim of effectively operating the business and working towards a successful succession of the family business. The seminar will explain how family businesses can avail themselves of the fiscal and governance incentives and acquire the status of a family business.
